The Corporation of the Town of Pelham is accepting Applications to Pre-qualify General
Contractors for a new fire station #1. The project involves the construction of a new single
storey fire station that will replace Fire Station #1 located at 177 RR 20, Fonthill, ON. The
value of construction is approximated at $8,000,000.00. It is anticipated that the project will be
tendered in late Fall of 2025 with construction start Spring 2026 and a completion date of
Spring 2027. The General Contractor is encouraged to view the site at 177 Highway 20W,
Fonthill, ON L0S 1E6 and become familiar all existing conditions as found.


The Town of Pelham is seeking fair, competitive bidding for this project from pre-qualified
bidders. The objective is to achieve a quality-built building within budget, on schedule, safely
and without disputes and litigation. The anticipated contract will be based on design-bid-build
stipulated lump sum project based on the CCDC-2-2020 Documents
