ONLINE SUBMISSION THROUGH BIDS AND TENDERS ONLY
The Meridian Community Centre, located at 100 Meridian Way in the Town of Pelham, offers a wide variety of recreational, social, health, and community activities to citizens and visitors alike. The stunning 143,000 square foot facility includes adaptable and multi-purpose community rooms, a large activity centre with two full-size basketball courts, two NHL-sized arenas, an indoor walking track, concession areas, change rooms & washrooms, and an atrium/lobby area.
The purpose of this assignment is to complete a technical solar feasibility study. The study is intended to identify the required planning, technical feasibility, energy savings and cost benefit analysis, investment payback, as well as benefits and/or potential risks of developing solar photovoltaic generation at the Meridian Community Centre; including but not limited to the structural capacity of the facility’s roof and suitability of the membrane roof system for solar installation, and RET Screen analysis for the potential development of rooftop, and/or façade and ground-mount (canopy) solar Photovoltaics (PV) systems. This RFP is seeking firms that have demonstrated experience in studying, planning, designing, cost estimating, scheduling, permitting, system monitoring and maintenance of similar complete solar photovoltaic systems. This proposal will be for the feasibility study only, should it be determined that the Town will move forward, a separate RFP will be issued for design services and construction administration. |
